Dryrobes were originally developed and designed to get changed under, the size guide is made based on using them for that purpose to ensure they are spacious enough inside for you to wriggle around whilst getting changed in and long enough to keep you covered.
The dryrobe Advance Long Sleeve is a better option for you if you want to wear it for warmth only and not for getting changed. The Short Sleeve design is better for fast changing.
