Current Mitts from Palm are new for this year and help to create a warm microclimate around your hands when you are paddling in the wind and spray.

The Current Mitts have been made up using fleece liner and a windproof shell to ensure that your hands stay warm, without compromising control of your paddle. The have a pull tab that you can easily grip with your teeth to get the final mitt on your hands with ease, and a drawcord adjustable wrist closure to ensure you can do them up nice and secure to stop them slipping off and to keep the heat inside the Mitts. The Mitts also come with reflective strips ensuring you will be seen if you are partial to some sunset paddling.

Our aim is that orders received by noon on weekdays will be despatched that day if the item is in stock. Please note that, other than delivery by Royal Mail, orders will be delivered on weekdays only, excluding Bank Holidays.

Our standard shipping charges are:

For single orders under £50.00 we charge £4.95 for delivery by Royal Mail 2nd Class Tracked Post

For single orders over £50 of small to medium-sized items, delivery is free

Age-verified services will incur an additional £8.95

For single orders of paddles, boats or paddleboards there may be a charge depending on the size of the item and the delivery address. This charge will be shown during checkout. Any charge which is dependant on the delivery address is to reflect additional charges by our carriers.

You may be able to upgrade the delivery service, depending on your order and the delivery address. The options available and their cost will be listed during checkout.

Most large products, such as boats and paddles, are sent by carrier or delivered in our van and will require a signature on receipt. We will contact you prior to despatch to agree the best delivery date. Delivery may be any time between 8am and 6pm.

Technical Outerwear Care

Palm uses technical fabrics that are highly waterproof and breathable.

To maintain the performance of your apparel:

After use, loosely fold garments to prevent latex gaskets coming into contact with dirt, sand or oil.

Wash and dry your gear within 24 hours.

Hand wash or machine wash on a Gentle/Delicates cycle at maximum temperature of 30C. We recommend Granger's performance Cleaner.

Hang garments to dry naturally away from direct sunlight. To re-proof, we recommend Granger's XT spray on proofer. DO NOT TUMBLE DRY.

Once dry, a quick visual inspection is recommended. Palm provides an excellent in-house repair service if necessary.

Store in a cool, dry place away from sunlight.

Warranty

All Palm products are fully guaranteed for the original purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 12 months. If a product is found to be defective before or during use due to a manufacturing failure, Palm will either repair or replace it subject to an initial inspection.

Items should be returned either direct to Palm (shipping pre-paid), or back to us at Canoe and Kayak Store (if you bought them here) enclosing the original receipt if you have it.

This guarantee is only valid against workmanship and materials and does not cover wear and tear.

Due to the vulnerability of latex seals and fabric socks, no guarantee can be given pnce the garment has been worn.

All items must be clean and dry before being sent back.

Please allow up to 21 days for return.

This guarantee does not affect your statutory rights.
